Ah, love is in the air. And what better symbol than a girl and her chainsaw, off to save her beloved with the aid of her trusty rat and bad comrades. Well...it doesn't really start that way. There is a lot of courtroom drama (and comedy) in this sequel to the exciting "RATS,BATS & VATS". Chip finds that being a hero doesn't seem to match the descriptions he had heard. In this action packed tour de farce, the war is all but forgotten as a new war is waged between the general staff and our aforementioned "Heroes". I thought is was almost as good as the first novel.
OK, I'm just not a rat person.
Freer and Flint have done it again. Everyone knows that 'no good deed goes unpunished'--and on the planet of Harmony and Reason that is definately the case. The rats, bats, and one very macho galago have to save the humans from the evils of alien invaders and human burocracy. Which is worse is anyone's guess. A fun read. If you liked Rats, Bats, and Vats, you'll like this.
