The book is amusingly written, and it contains good, common-sense advice. I know, having lived with cats almost all my life and even breeding pedigreed cats and showing them for seven years. (But that was long ago, and my present cats, including one that turned out to be the most intelligent and affectionate of all the cats I have ever had, are ones I took in as abandoned kittens.)
