Never expected to enjoy this book as much as I did. Literally felt like one of the jury and am not sure if I developed an opinion as to guilt or innocence. But truly 'could not put it down.' Very well written and paced. It caught different aspects of all the character's personalities and I thought showed how events can be turned and twisted into interpretations both on purpose and accidentally. Highly recommend this one!

I have read and re-read this book from cover to cover, and still do not know if Priscilla Phillips is truly guilty. Nancy Wright's descriptions of Priscilla and her family & friends do not lead us to an inescapable conclusion. This is excellently written and crafted, and rolls along at a much faster pace than most novels that involve court cases.
