This book is a mystery adventure. The main characters are Kit and Fern which are about ten years old. This story is happening in Kentucky, America in the year 1934. My favorite character is Fern because she is very interesting. She lives with her grandma and her two brothers John and Harlan, since their parents died. Kit went to Kentucky for summer vacation to visit Aunt Millie and her friend for about three weeks. The mystery is who is destroying Kit`s notes and Miss Lucy`s things. Miss Lucy came from Chicago to study baskets, she is also a professor. Kit and Fern are trying to find out who it is. They think it is Harlan. I liked the book because it is very exciting! You should read the book! Why? Because I couldn`t stop reading it!!!!!!
