This is a good, quick book if you just want to be intertained.
The first in the trilogy, Tamily and The Crystal Rose are the other two. A well-written story about a young teen girl trying to achieve her dreams in a male-dominated profession- magic. The story reminds me of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsinger in the plight of a girl trying to do what she loves the most.
