A prequel, of sorts, to Almost Dead.....
If you like romance and mystery, then go get this book now. I have read everything Lisa Jackson has written and this is my favorite. When Marla wakes up in the hospital after a car accident,(or was it) she has to rely on the man that says he is her husband, although she does not remember him.Her memory has been wiped away, but she knows enough to know that something is wrong and that she is in danger for her life. She puts all her trust into her husbands renegade brother and together they set out to find out who is trying to kill her. Before you read the last few pages, you will have suspected everyone. If you have never read a book by Lisa, this is a good place to start.

Lisa Jackson writes suspenseful family dramas and this book is no exception. Marla Cahill survives a horrible accident, but she ends up with amnesia and she is not sure who she is. She turns to her brother in law Nick to help her solve the mystery and figure out who is trying to kill her. Hard to put down and nicely woven plot that was hard to figure out until the end.
Lisa Jackson does it again. This is Book 1 of a two part series. Book 2 is Almost Dead. It's a great series.

This book is great! I just finished reading it and couldn't stop reading it once I started. It starts off fast and keeps the reader enthralled thru the whole book. You won't want to put it down!!! I had never read a lot by this author...maybe one book in the past but I am now hooked on her books! If you love a good mystery/thriller you really have to read this book! - And after you read this one she wrote a continuing sequel that is called "Almost Dead" which I got from a friend and will read that next. - GAIL L.
