A very good tale and one that, thankfully, gives much more space to the men and women of the gallant Filipino guerrillas, and their actions, than did the more popular "Ghost Soldiers."
However, I have the feeling that much of the dialogue was made up. This somewhat detracts from the book, but not the story.
