This is a hardback of the first three novels. I loved this book. It is about Sookie stackhouse. A Lousiana cocktail waitress that get's swept up in the world of vampires, werewolves and other things that go bump in the night.

Charlaine Harris has become one of my favorite paranomal writers. She has a little of everything in there, and plenty of cute, sexy guys to keep you wanting more. Once you started reading this series is hard to put down. I hope this series never ends.

This is a hardback book with three Sookie Stackhouse stories in it: Dead in Dixie, Living Dead in Dallas, & Club Dead.
Sookie is in love with a vampire named Bill and has all kinds of adventures with him and his friends and enemies.

I sat down and read this series in two weeks. Could not wait to get to the next book. I sat up several nights til 2 or 3 just to read "one more" chapter. Simply one of the best vampire series out there.

The Sookie Stackhouse series is a fun romp throught the backwoods of Louisianna. Having the first three books available as a single omnibus is just convienient.

I would (and have) recommend this book to anybody who can enjoy a fun vampire love story.
