I absolutely LOVE this book. It has opened up so many memories (re-member) from my childhood that has brought me "back into the fold" so to speak. Definitely a must read if nothing else but to enjoy a different perspective.

The dialogue begins...
I have heard the crying of your heart. I have seen the searching of your soul. I know how deeply you have desired the Truth. In pain have you called out for it, and in joy. Unendingly have you beseeched Me. Show Myself. Explain Myself. Reveal Myself.
I am doing so here, in terms so plain, you cannot misunderstand. In language so simple, you cannot get lost in the verbiage.
So go ahead now. Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout; this book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch.
Listen.
The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear-all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you then that I have always been there.
All ways.

I found this book to be one of the greatest books I have ever read in terms of "getting it". I read this book about 6 times in the first year, not because I didn't understand but because every time I read it again, the level of understanding was deeper.

I'm on the fence about this one--I only got about halfway through it---let me know what you think :)

I absolutely love this book. Having been raised in a strict Lutheran home and not really feeling the beliefs "fit", this book offered some alternative beliefs which resonated with me. I would highly recommend it if you have spiritual questions.

This book makes so much sense of the world around us. It and the companion books, CWG Book Two and CWG Book Three are my new guides for making sense of my life. So glad Neale shared them with the world. You will either find that the material resonates strongly with your soul, or think it is heresy. Worth reading to bring new ways to think about our world. For me, it was just what I was searching for.

I wish everyone would read this book. It makes so much SENSE - although it will sound blasphemous to many I'm sure. A beautiful reminder of our inherent worth and our journey to rejoin with our highest selves. I will reread it many times I'm sure.

I love this book. It took everything I believe and moved it a step further on my path. Questions I've strugggled with were answered in ways I can understand and relate to. It makes God more of a friend...than an object.

Did Neale Donald Walsch "speak" to God? I don't know. Did God communicate with him via automatic writing? I don't know. Did this book make me take a look at my beliefs, the role of Source in my life and my place in the universe? You bet it did! It's not often that I write in my books..... My copy of CWG has so many notes in the margins that it would probably be hard for anyone else to read. It gives you so much to think about that I actually had to put it down occasionally and digest for a while.

I don't necessary agree with everything that the book says, but that's not really the point. The point is that it made me THINK about it, roll it around, see what resonated and what didn't.

Read without judgment and with an open mind.... You could have some "aha" moments. I did!

Not being a religious person, this was not a title I would have picked up voluntarily. However, it was recommended by a friend, and I was quite impressed with the content.

Setting aside the conversation with God, this was a great book about living your best life, free of guilt and fully alive. Definitely worth the read.

Questions and answers that philosophers and theologians have been struggling with for, perhaps, millenia are answered in this book. As the title suggests, it's written as a dialogue between a person (perhaps you) and God. God answers as a parent, a friend, a counselor, and a lover. The way it's written is innovative and inspirational.

A neat feature of the hardcopy I have is that the pages are thick and cut unevenly...like from an old notebook, where some pages stick out more than others.

I love the idea of this book, but it's just not for me.

I had to read this book for a class I was taking. Trust me we had some serious debates about this one. Honestly you will either really enjoy this one, or really wont. I personally was on the wont list. Most of my problem with the book was how it was written, not nessesarily the message behind it. although some things that are said made for some fun debates. But such is the nature of a spiritual awareness class. We read many other books on all different Topics. One thing i did notice was if you like Eckhart Toll you will not like this book. If you really dint like Caroline Myst you will love this book. lol its just somthing I noticed. Some people may find the dialog easy to understand or figure out who is saying what. honestly I felt like i was going scitzo while reading it. Good Luck!
