Very good book of short stories, memories poems and proses of being female and Catholic before Vatican II.
Some issuses still hit home today, like sex, gulit, birth control, abuse (child and spousal).
A real eye opener on life with the Catolic Church and Nuns. Makes me I grew up in the age I did and that My Mother raised her children as Presbyterians as I think of living a life racked with guilty and fear of mortal sin.
