The use of DNA is having a profound effect on the study of ancient peoples. This book states that the Welsh were the first true Britons; the Welsh are more closely related to the original Britons than the rest of the inhabitants of the Island. This is based on the 2004 study of "People of the British Isle" by geneticists. The study showed that there were 17 distinct genetic clusters of people in what is now the modern United Kingdom.

This book gives 4 of the most widely shared myths about the Welsh 'lost city of Atlantis' in Cardigan Bay. I think this is Charles River Editors forte'. They offer a diverse collection of fascinating stories about unusual subjects.
