The author, a former resident of Cades Cove, made the history & past residents of the Cove most interesting. Having visited there myself, I really enjoyed the story.

This is a wonderful book about Cades Cove, near Gatlinburg Tennessee. I visited Cades Cove several years ago and if there's ever a place that can take you back to the early 1900s this is it. The book is full of wonderful stories!
