This cookbook is filled with delicious recipes that serve two people. In the first third of the book, menus are built focusing on a specific event such as--Candlelight Dinner, Celebration Night, Steak Night--Outdoors and Steak Night Indoors. Corresponding recipes are provided. For the Candlelight Dinner the recipes are Savory Tomato Soup, Cornish Game Hens with Rice Stuffing, Spicy Cranberries and Raspberry-Melon Boats. Celebration Night includes Broiled Lobster Tails and Easy Grasshopper Pie. Many of the recipes are easy and contain only a few ingredients. One section of the book features favorites you might remember from your childhood or ones that Gramma used to make--but tailored to serve only two people, which makes them faster and easier. One section is devoted to recipes that you cook the main dish once for two meals--freeze one for later. One section features easy on the budget recipes.
