This particular ebook was enlightening; I've always admired Barbara Stanwyck but didn't know a great deal about her. However, when I read her life, I could see that she wasn't really cut out to have children. Because of the early death of her mother and her father's abandonment (to help dig the Panama Canal), Barbara never was nurtured.
