The book has two stories with two different authors. I had never read anything by P.C. Cast before. Based on how horrible this one is, I won't be reading anything else by her either. Love triangle with twin sisters. Ewww! That is the kindest thing I can say about her story. However, this book is totally worth it for the Gena Showalter story. Haunted is an interesting premise with a twist I didn't see coming. Loved this story.
Possessed 2*
Unsure about this one after reading synopsis. But hey, it's PC Cast! I usually like her stuff. yeah, not this one.
The interesting: a serial killer who feeds and drains souls
The not: the weird/freaky love triangle between Lauren, her dead twin Aubrey, and Kent. Yes, go there. Ick.
Haunted 3*
This one was better. It did take me awhile to warm up to Harper and Levi. Nice twists.

This book contains two stories loosely based on a national psychic detective agency named "After Moonrise."
"Possessed" by P.C. Cast: Horrible story with very little real emotional connections for the characters. One word: TWINS (insert eyeroll here). The end is such a cop out and talk about unhealthy sisterly boundaries. Skip it. Dumb story.
"Haunted" by Gena Showalter: I'm a Showalter fan so this story saved the book for me. Nice concept (yes, it's been done before) with a hint of sadness. Great characters that make you want to read more about the world. Levi is a what Cast tried to make Raef to be in the last story, except Showalter manages to make him sexy and endearing even with his pessimistic nature. There is some cheesy lines in the story but overall it was pretty decent.

Both stories in this book are connected by a paranormal detective agency called After Moonrise with Gena Showalter's "Haunted" being the longer story. I thought neither story was a happy sort of love story but if you like both authors it is worth reading.
